Featured Article Selection is where editors can nominate high standard articles to be featured as article of the week (commonly referred to as AOTW). Such pages will feature on Lostpedia's homepage in recognition of its contribution to the betterment of the site as a whole. Below are instructions on how to nominate and vote. SysOps moderate this discussion and will either add an article to be a future AOTW, or remove it from this page.

"So It Begins"

- This was by far the most important mobisode. We learn that Christian appeared to Vincent prior to Jack's awakening in "Pilot, Part 1". If there is any mobisode that should be featured, it's this one. --CTS 19:07, 22 May 2008 (PDT)

- In the Middle - I agree mobisodes are too short so perhaps an overall AOTW relating the the significance of the mobisobes and anything important learned in them. There's No Place Like Home, Parts 2 & 3

- I think that it is a good episode but it is not about that. good article and its going to get a lot of traffic over the break
- Agree. Yes, this is one of the more thoroughly researched episodes. Someone needs to clean-up the subsection spacing and picture arrangement, though. Looks like someone got too brclear happy with it.

- Slight Disagree: Even though I put a lot of work into this article, don't think it's featured content. The majority of the article is just a list, and even though it has a good juicy text-only section at the bottom, that section isn't good enough to be shown for the whole article, in my opinion. DHARMA or The Others

- Major bias cause I rewrote both of these recently. Firstly, they have been featured in the past, but I don't think that should stop re-featuring if the content has significantly changed/improved since the last feature. I nominate both of these pages as it shows how major articles can be categorized (particularly the DHARMA one) effectively. I would prefer DHARMA over the Others, as I still dislike the whole "Others crimes" section as I think its a little verbose. Martin Keamy
- Nominated by: CTS
- Keamy was a huge part of Season 4 and led the freighties in a season-long effort to capture Ben Linus. He's by far one of Lost's most iconic villains. This article has some great pictures and is well-written. -- CTS Talk Contribs 12:09, 8 August 2008 (PDT)

- Later: Agree, Keamy's assigned missions (Capturing Ben and Torching the Island) were failures, but his primary other actions (killing Alex and (maybe) Rousseau and Karl) will have fallout. Ethan Rom
- Nominated by: Obi-Dan Kenobi
- The main antagonist of Season 1, and a very powerful character (physically and mentally), who introduced us to The Others in an amazing way. Even though he died back in the 15th episode, he is still coming back in flashbacks, and every appurtenance of him is a great treat. Well written article with newly added pictures.
- Disagree While Ethan is a great character I don't think that it is an article is worthy to be AotW, he is a great character though, just not enough to constitute article of the week.--JinxTalk Contribs 09:29, 1 September 2008 (PDT)
"The Shape of Things to Come"

Jungle

- Disagree. IMHO, and with all due respect, this article is in bad shape and should not represent the wiki. In fact, it's got a half-dozen pro deletion votes on the discussion page. Some notable problems: the article isn't in the standard wiki format, it needs sections by season, its missing a location box and lead-in picture, it has an informal/casual tone, and contains badly worded lines like, "Because the jungle takes up most of the Island, in order to travel on the Island, you must go through the jungle." - The deletion votes were from when the article was created and had nothing much to do with Lost (before the cleanup). And please clarify what you mean by informal tone. From what I see, it is no different from many other articles on the wiki.
