Ian Somerhalder played the role of Boone in Season 1 and appeared as a "Guest Star" in the Season 2 episode "Abandoned" and the Season 3 episodes "Further Instructions" and "Exposé".

Background

Ian Somerhalder was born in Covington, Louisiana. His mom is a massage therapist, while dad is a building contractor; they divorced when he was young. He went to Catholic school.

Ian began modeling at age 10, for Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Versace and Guess. He then went into acting, with his first major role in The Rules of Attraction. He had a starring role in the 2006 horror thriller Pulse. Additionally, he appeared as Adam Knight in the third season of Smallville, had guest roles in CSI spinoffs, The Big Easy, Recess and Tell Me You Love Me.
