A glass eye was one of three items found in the Arrow station by the Tailies. It was discovered inside a box during "The Other 48 Days", along with a Bible and a radio transmitter.
The only person on the island known to have lost an eye was Mikhail Bakunin. However, in "Through the Looking Glass" it was revealed that Mikhail's right eye was completely scarred over, which presumably precluded him from having use for a glass eye. However, Mikhail's eyelids could have been sewn together to avoid infection after the removal of his actual eye or the glass eye.
