Blindfolds
From Lostpedia
Blindfolds are items that have been used multiple times on Lost, most commonly by The Others, to keep their location mysterious and to conceal other facts from the survivors. These commonly take the form of a hood or bag placed over the victim's head, rather than a traditional piece of folded cloth. Not only do bags make more sense in the context of the story (e.g., impromptu nature of kidnapping, scarcity of resources), but also the fact that hoods enhance suspense by completely disguising the victim's face.
